Early Fast Responder Kit for HAZMAT
Early fast responder kit for HAZMAT (EFRK) enables remote access to real-time gas, radiation, and biometric data to enhance first responder safety and reduce incident response times.
The system can easily scale up to 64 detectors and includes option for GPS, include ATEX-certified Multi Gas , wireless monitor, Real-Time Portable physiological Monitor and computer control system. The host controller can run the software for monitoring from a safe zone up to two miles (3km) away.
The EFRK is designed for quick assessment of chemical and radiological threats. The system can be used as a disaster mitigation and life protection solution in a broad range of applications including HazMat response.
The wireless delivery of real-time data on toxic gases combined with the physiological status of first responders provides real-time information that can be utilized by incident commanders to make quick decisions. With this new wireless safety system, emergency responders are now able to protect communities while providing unsurpassed safety for responders and complying with regulations for the handling of situations involving hazardous materials.
The EFRK system can monitor VOC , flammable gases, O2, toxic industrial chemicals, such as H2S,SO2,NH3 , or gamma, etc. The data can be storaged and easily used.
Application:
The EFRK system combines wireless monitors components with computer control systems. The monitor components can be divided into two categories: basic and extend.
The computer control system contains remote monitoring software, chemical accident Area of influence powered by the Google earth engine ,MSDS database ,etc.
The monitoring software, with 2012 offline satellite map , Combines Time-critical Toxic Gas Data, with GPS and Physiological Status of First Responders base on arcgis runtime. The chemical accident area of influence provide two models of explosion and diffusion based on Google earth Engine.
The detector is an ATEX-certified Multi Gas, wireless monitor. Housed in a welded stainless-steel enclosure, it is rugged, portable and weather-resistant, making it suitable for harsh environments. Ideal for hazardous materials and other emergency response monitoring applications, strategically placed AreaRAE monitors can be used to quickly establish a perimeter, allowing first responders to back off to a safe position and monitor readings from up to 3 kilometers away.
The photoionization detector (PID) in the AreaRAE can measure parts per million of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). In addition, it can be equipped with a lower explosive limit (LEL) sensor, an oxygen sensor, and one or two electrochemical toxic sensors for measuring specific substances such as hydrogen sulfide or chlorine.
Real-Time Portable Physiological Monitoring
It is a lightweight, chest-worn strap that incorporates ECG (electrocardiogram) and breathing rate sensors for real-time portable physiological monitoring. It is linked to a Link portable modem which enables the wireless radio to transmit sensor readings and GPS coordinates in real time to a PC that is running the Guardian safety monitoring software.
Quick setup and easy to use
The remote monitoring software represents an advanced generation of real-time wireless threat detection solutions, it accepts data from real-time detector and instantly displays status of device, alarm, and sensor reading informations – all integrated on a single map display.
•Area analysis
It provide the precautionary documents, national standards and codes for emergency responder.
